Lifted f350 v10 question

Im looking into putting an 8" lift on our f350 and was wondering what would fit because as i look there is nothing that mentions a v10 only v8's and diesels. I want to run 38's or above but need to search out a lift any suggestions or links to lifts kits that i should look into? Thanks.

yeah ive been there a few times but it just says gas or diesel, but i seached some other sites and some say v10/diesel and only v8.

edit-looked a little more and the 2 kits i am looking into dont specify the motor http://www.4wheelparts.com/4wp/produ...wTab=features# the 2 at the bottom of the page. also what is the difference and why does the one that sound better and has everything plus some cheaper than the first one?

their different because of the weight of the engines. deisels will be stiffer, but will still work. Not sure how a diesel compares in weight to a v10.

If you've got the V-10, you'll get the diesel kit. As posted above, it's because of the weight difference between the V8 and V10...although the V10 doesn't weight anywhere near as much as a diesel does..

By the way...which two kits are you comparing? There are like eleventy-billion on that page! Pro-Comp suspension systems on a SD (Super Duty) haven't given owners the best riding or performing suspension, as reported here on the SD forum. Heck for those prices, you might want to check out Superlift, Donahoe Racing, Fabtech...each of thoes companies provide a quality product.

Try posting up above in the Super Duty section of the forum, you'll get a TON of responses and feedback from real users of each suspension company.

im comparing fabtech to superlift and be seeing what im being told i'd go with this fabtech kit 00-04 F250/F350 4WD (DIESEL) Motor w/Block and Add a Leaf 8" Lift Kit (W/ DUAL FRONT SHOCK KIT, AND EXTRA SHOCKS)
FABKIT224D, or this superlift kit 00-03 F250/350 V-10/Diesel 8"Front 6.5"Rear Lift **w/Bilstien Shocks**
SUPK644B but will the superlift be able to fit 37's or 38s?
