Guess who got productive today?

After a week or so of screwing around with my tail light issue, I woke up this morning and dived right in. We were up a little late last night/this morning, so I didn't actually get outside until about 9:30 this morning. The neighbors boy came over to play, and what a fun day we had. Two trips to the junkyard later...

It is now a little after six. I've got tail lights, brake lights, turn signals, and TUNES!!!!

(At least until I hit a bump...sheesh!)

A few more trips to the junkyard and you might qualify for truck of the month again.

If trips to the junkyard are what it takes to qualify, I should have it already hands down... got a load on right now that I have to get through...
CHeck your grounds, that is what usually screws up my tail lights like that. I fought that for a few hours last fall... trailer would light poorly, then the truck was fine, then the trailer would light fine, and the truck would lose tail lights... very aggravating.

this is my current load, a small one, scaled it at 14,000 before I got going... (local elevator leave their scale on all the time for the local trucking company)
This is the other trailer, the major reason why this truck was bought... scaled as heavy as 24,500 loaded, lightest load I think was 20,000 or so. Ran it mostly last summer, haven't run it this year much. The fence gates are on there to contain the scrap, and there is woven wire on the inside of the gates. Maybe one of these days I'll use it for what I built it for, hauling cars...
