laptop shelf/workspace in my F350 cab?

So, I'm constantly travelling and working in my F350 SD Crew Cab. I want to come up with a 'shelf', serving the right seat passenger. A flat, horizontal surface, extending back from the dash, above the glove box opening. A shelf that's sturdy and large enough that you could place a laptop, with a mouse. Anybody seen such a thing, or have suggestions?

Well, that sort-of depends. You could look at one of the generic laptop mounts like what we use for emergency vehicles... when the laptop is removed, you do end up with an articulated "shelf".

To get an idea...

thanks for the links. Very versatile, high-end stuff there. I was thinking more along the lines of an 'airline tray table', something that might be removable, instead of a permanent installation.

Here is a link to the mount that I put in my truck. Something you could consider. Although there is not enough room for a mouse.

The cheapest place I could find it at the time was http://www.custommounts.com/ they said they would pricematch. So I found a place that sold it even cheaper minus shipping which was at the time http://www.expressmounts.com I ended up spending with shipping 200.95 which isn't too bad. I like it.
