I've been looking for these headlights for some time now. The picture is in my Gallery under Mods. It is of a 2005 Harley Super Duty. The headlights have "Black" around the edges of the headlights and around the edge of the turn signals. I've found the headlights, but in silver. Even the ones on EBay that say that they are OEM Harley Super Duty, are always Silver around the edges. Any help would be appreciated. I want them for an upgrade to my 2002 Excursion Limited.

Just completed the upgrade on the front end of my 03. These are the harley lights I think you were talking about. I got mine from directfordparts after scouring ebay for a month or so.

Yes, that is exactly the ones. If you don't mind, what exactly did you have to do to install them? I can't tell what year truck you have from your picture. I've heard everything from some cutting, to different wiring harnesses, bulbs, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I got alot of good info on these FTE forums on others experiences. There is a couple different ways to do it, I choose to replace the header panel and bumper (instead of cutting the old header panel). My truck is a 2003. Sorry about the picture being so big, not sure how to resize it on this computer.

2003 7.3 4x4 Superduty

 

When you convert to 2005+ headlights, I noticed on the www.dfuser.com sight that they say that the harnesses "do not work with daytime running lights". My 2002 does not have daytime running lights, it has automatic headlights that work when it gets dark outside (sensing the darkness with the sensor located in the front center of the dash). Do the "automatic headlights like I have still work??

what you are describing is what I have and it works fine. I believe the daytime running lights were a canadian truck thing. But i do not have those. "Automatic turn on" is different from "daytime running" lights.
