3 on the tree question

im trying to get the linkage for the 3 on the tree in my 76 f-150 set and im getting nowhere does anyone have any pointers to make this any easier I cant seem to find the right spot....lol any help would be appreciated

Ya, I've never screwed with 3 on the tree, but seems I've seen that adjustment before. Like a 4 spd shifter, put it in neutral and install pin to lock. Adjust the rods so that everything is centered. Usually that clears up all the shifting issues.....as long as your cab mounts are good and solid!
