The Ford kit is too expensive and not worth it. Search for a 89-93 Mustang harness and computer (about $250ish, I got mine for free). You will also need headers with an O2 sensor in each side or wire the connections together to half-*** it. The only other thing that you will need is the airbox. If you are lucky you will find one from a 96 300, 302, or 351 in a junk yard ($50ish) or perhaps eBay ($50ish plus shipping). Otherwise you can hillbilly one together as long as you have the MAF meter.
u need o2 sensors for an a9p? cause from what ive ehard u dont need them..but im prolly wrong, im just now gettin the harness and computer. u can get an a9p off ebay for under 100$ mine was 35$ and a harness for a bit more. but id go to a junk yard and get the intake stuff out of an f150 bronco or any ford truck with mass air aslong as it has the y and what not it will work.. ive even seen pictures of someone getting an adapter plate made to where they could bolt on the single bore TB of of a newer mustang
The a9p/a9l require o2 sensors in order to run the engine correctly. without them you'll get codes and the eec will run the engine incredibly rich which isn't good for gas mileage, power, valve life, rings, and the overall smell in the cab.
The easiest way to install them on a non-o2 exhaust system is to drill a hole in the "Y" pipe just after the connection to the exhaust manifold, weld on a premade o2 sensor bung, and thread the sensor into that bung.
If you're looking for a non-welding solution, you can also drill and tap in the meaty part of the manifold just before the connection to the Y pipe.
That's what I did on my 351W manifolds on my 93 crewcab, for a pair of NTK wideband o2 sensors for tuning/monitoring etc.
But, I had the metric tap for the NTK sensor in the drawer, so for me it was a no-cost solution. Big taps aren't $5
I know you want a kit but .
My 94 f150 has maf and uses one sensor from factory. So you could go that route just change wires needed for maf & computer harness. And leave your harness for lights , horn ,dash, ex. alone.
But a donar stang with intake, wiring , computer, o2 sensor, and maf ready air box from truck.(Or after market air system) would pep up that truck.
By the way if donar car is 302 and after 94 the firing order is same as 351. You'll need to switch 4 injector wires around to trick computer.
I recently got harness and air box for $25.00 for truck . Harness is same as older trucks but extra each injector has own wire,of corse the Maf , and sensor on air box and connector for computer is different Maf could get for 50.00 . Have not checked on computer yet . Going to put on 93 f150 302. good luck

The mustang computers are sequential injection, even the speed density ones in 87 and 88. Truck computers were batch fire except for the mass air trucks according to everything I've read.
