it was a bow , Mathews Q2 XL to be exact thank you very much!!!!!!!!!
but ricks probably right my bow season is shorter than the state's
I try to be legal at least the first week. there's something about that old 30-06 thats a little better than a bow,I think it's a 200 yrd shot . at that distance you don't have to be a real good hunter, I can kick back on the back porch beer in one hand and the gun in the other and shoot across the field behind my house 
but ricks probably right my bow season is shorter than the state's
