I got an IAC from a 96 Taurus on ebay for 99 cents. Its new.

anyone know if it will work on a 94 302? locally they want like 220 bucks for it.

the IAC's 'look' identical.

ok, I 'think' resistance is the same for both parts, can anyone confirm?

I can tell you Standard Motor Products lists differnt part numbers for these applications. The Ford OE Numbers are also different.

Who's "they"? An IAC valve runs about $75 or so from Napa.

Partsource. in Canadian dollars. What bearing does that have on this thread in the first place.


Either way I will try it, I mean it can hurt anything, and its only going to be $1+$9 shipping.

Most of Ford's IACs are the same. The only difference is the plug type and the orientation of the motor to the base and the plug.
