Gas mileage special! Complete 8.8in rear axle/differential assembly with very low 2.47 to 1 gear ratio, in good condition. All parts from drum to drum. We replaced this one with a 3.55 to 1 rear end to get better gears for towing. This is an easy swap as the brake lines do not have to be opened. Asking $100 (scrap yard price $200). Actually, you'll probably get better mileage (unloaded) with the 3.55 rear.
