OOPS, I guess I messed up somewhere. Sorry this was blank before.

After researching the topic as much as possible, I have decided it would be easier all the way around to install an independant front suspension on my 64. I do not want to use a clip from the salvage yard since I don't have the extra space at home to dissasemble another vehicle.

I really am liking the air ride setup alot. What I would like know, how do you folks feel about the current setups on the market? I have seen the ads in the magazines for Mustang II, Dodge Dakota, and air ride types. I believe all of these would be easy enough for me to install but I have only seen them advertised for the late 40's to late 50's trucks. Are they available for the 61-66 models as well? Does anyone know the frame differences for these two decades ? I plan to try and install it sometime around May after work slows down a bit.

I was interested in air bags also and called up a supplier. They had different Mustang IFS kits and one was with air bags. He said that it would work for 61-64 trucks and people had done it. As I recall, the downside was that he didn't recommend the air bag option if you were going to tow or haul heavy loads. I think it was Fat Man Fabrications. If you go this route let me know how it goes. I am still interested but have a lot of body work left to go.
