Oil Leak from front of Engine

Hey yall,
I have another oil leak. This time its comming from the front of the engine. I have checked the HPOP and turbo and there is no oil on them or in the valley. I looked at the intercooler boots, they are realy dirty, but none seem to show any oil leaking out. Not that I figured thats a common problem, just thought maybe the oil vapors could have accumalated. Any suggestions?

Hey, stop guessing. Simple green that rascal and find where it is coming from. All we can do is guess until you pinpoint the source.

Dirty intercooler boots is a sure sign of a boost leak. Thats what I had. I cleaned mine up and reassembled using some permatex brush on form a gasket. Just a little to make a tacky surface and tighten the clamps. I was pleasantly surprised at my new found increase in boost and lower EGT. I got the idea from a guy that used hairspray on them. Worked for me.

Listen to Tenn use some simple green or greased lightning on it so you can pinpoint the leak there are alot of spots it could be coming from and you dont want to just start throwing parts at it
