i have a hop or shake in the front end at about 40mph?
Ok i have a 77 f-150 9in skyjacker with 39.5 iroks radials. Im wanting to know what my caster should be. and how big of drop brackets for my radius arms? i have 4in drops now and 7 degree bushings? if all that makes any sence i could really use some help? thanks
5-7º caster is about right for these trucks. With those bushing and the drop brackets you have you should be at around 5º right now so I don't think that's the problem. As long as you steering doesn't feel really squirrley and it corrects itself coming out of turns you should be fine. Personally I'd go for a 6" drop bracket with a 9" kift but I don't think that's really critical here.
Does it feel like the truck is bouncing or is your steering wheel shaking like mad?
