G'day from another Aussie

Hi Guys!
I had no idea that this was around, this is soooooo cool!
I drive an 84 F350 which is at times my pride and joy and at times my worst night mare! I have spent the last 4 years working in Italy and have played with my truck each Christmas when I would be home for hols. I'm back home to stay now so it's time to get serious about a rebuild! There are quite a few F series in Europe among the quarter horse people, especially the Germans as their rego rules are less strick compared to Italy. Italy has very strict rego laws which is strange 'cause they don't give a s**t about any other laws!
Any way it was all a bit hard for my hobby over there as rods and customs are non existant in Italy, ok Ferrari's and lambo's are cool but...

Thanks BigF350,
I've just checked out your photos, really cool!! You've got some nice toys :-)) The road train shots get people talking don't they! I took some photos over to Europe and everyone thought they where fakes! I used to work as a ringer at wave hill when I was a kid. It's an amazing place. Thanks for making my induction into the forum world painless :-)) Ps I'm posting a photo of my first car, see if you can guess what it is? (it is a ford)

hmm... Hard to tell from the photo - apart from the fact it seems to have the mother of all turbo's.

Is it an early Cortina??

The body lines on the doors look like an early Falcon.

Hey TigerDan,
Yep, it is a 65 (XP) falcon four door, with a 221 motor out of a 68 Falcon. I put a Wade (English) blower on it with 2 SU carbies that went through the inner guards. It had an XC gxl (78 falcon) hood and grill cut down to fit 64 falcon guards. One peice door glass, and lots of other neat custom tricks. I'll have to see if I can find more photos of it, as they are in a box somewhere. I then had the great idea to turn it into a pillered 2 door and then got busy with my business (as you do :-((() and it has sat in a shed for nearly 20 years. The plan now is to put a cage and rear clip in it and go drag racing, so after 20 years it may see the light of day again!

So do I win a prize? Like maybe a free trip to Australia to hang out with all the cool car guys Down Under?

(Maybe I could get Fred to foot the bill...!)
