Why? Galvanic corrosion? I always thought it was 2 dissimiliar metals in contact, then exposed to water, not fuel, that caused that. Is it any type of moisture?
Yes, a galvanic reaction. The stainless will corrode and get itself stuck in the threads. The stainless bolt heads look great and won't rust or tarnish, but the threads will weld themselves if you don't use anti-seize.
