Rotella???

Been reading that a few folks here use Rotella in their vehicles for the additive advantages. Am I getting this info wrong or are there some advantages?

HDEO like Rotella or Delo have higher amounts of ZDDP 1,200ppm vs a "regular" oil that would be 800ppm this higher amount will help with camshaft wear in certain cars/trucks.
Also HDEO has a higher detergent level which can exstend oil drians and reduce sludge build up.
