I am looking to get a new (to me) 5th wheel about Dec. time frame. I would like to get a toybox hauler if I can find one that I like. Main hold up is I would like it to be under 26' (hitch to bumper) as I plan on getting a boat in the future as well. All in all, I have to stay under 65' total lenght. I used to have a 28' trailer and it would have put me right at or just over 65 with a 20' boat.

Does anyone have or know of any 5th wheel toyboxes in this range?

 

It is very difficult to find a 5'er toyhauler under 30. Your best bet is to go to the toy hauler section of the rv dot net site. They have every toy hauler manufacturer web site listed, and a lot of knowledgable people on the subject.

 

They make toyhauler fifthwheels in the length you desire. The issue that you are going to have is slide out. Everbody wants a slide these days, but when you biuild a toyhauler that small there really isn't room for a slide. Why not get a longer fifthwheel that you can put the boat inside. We had one customer that did this, it's a ton of work but he can take the boat when he wants or the other toys. He had enough room to put the boat in swing it to the side and then put in a quad. The quad was to put the boat in and out of the toyhauler.

Just a thought, an expensive one, but a thought none the less.
