Yes the weather was a bit of a pain what with the rain although I found out on Saturday the Arthur truck club boys don't call it rain they prefer to call it high humidity.

I enjoyed meeting everyone I hadn't meet yet and I really enjoyed spending some time with Dion or "D" as Jeff likes to call him and his lovely wife Brenda as well as Jeff and his lovely wife Tammy.

Lot's of great trucks, new Ford belt buckle and Key chain.
If you love and own Ford trucks this is the show to attend.

As Jeff will attest to it truely is a small world, while talking with Jeff and Dion the conversation turned to farming and tobbaco farming to be exact well wouldn't you know it I've only known Dion for about 2 years but back in about 1975 I worked one summer for his uncle Mac in PortHope on his then Tobbaco farm My Dad and Mac spent sometime in the same Hospital room about a year earlier and became good friends and that's how I got the summer job.

Jeff says wow the world just got this small( holding his thumb and finger about half an inch apart.


I hope to see more FTE and other Ford truck owners and nuts at next years show.

FTE got the award for most club members in attendance.
See, that was easy.
Next year we should really group together and see if we can "own" the south field.
So, there's the challenge to ALL FTE members. 2007 = FTE fills their own field at the Arthur Truck Show !!!!!!!!!

Naw !!!!!!!! They saw right through my little game and made me pay adult admission price.
I put the Ranger up for sale & got a response in less than one day on the kijiji site that's in Quadiquizm's post. It's just not right to let a perfectly good truck like that sit in the driveway for weeks on end.

Despite the weather we will be back next year. Had a blast with some now "old" friends and met some great new folks.
