I put the Edge Evolution on my '06 F-150 4X4 S-Crew with Ford 20" stock wheels.
The book that comes with the Evolution does not list the 20" stockers for entering in to the custom settings. It does, however, have the formula to calculate the correct numbers.
I worked the formula and came up with a number and then to see if I was using the formula correctly I put the numbers in for 17", 18"s like they have in the book and came up with answers that were always 1 number off from what they have listed. Usually the Evolution book is one number lower than what the formula puts out. But in at least one instance the number was one higher.
I am not sure if I should lower my number by one or what to do? My truck's Speedo always seems to be a couple of mph's faster than the edge. I drove down to Moab, Utah last week and past a couple of the speed limit signs that tell you how fast you are going... each time my speedo was several MPH's off from the radar sign.
Any suggestions?
By the way, so far I really like the Edge Evolution.
Well it says in the Edge manual that you can be +/- 3mph I think due to slight variances in the Ford speedo assembly. Past that, I would trust the numbers that you get from the Edge calculation.
