Question 04 f150 4.6 stx and nos?

hey guys need some good advice on a nos setup for my truck.. what iam looking for is a little added power when i want it iam thinking of going with a fogger system controlled by my edge tuner/ programmer still waiting to hear back from edge about the nos controller addon but what i need advice on is if i set it up for lets say a 50 or 75 hp shot do you think it will dramatically give more wear and tear on my engine she has 33k on her now .still want to get alot of good miles some people say not a problem others say be ready for rebuilds what do you all think?

If you can manage it without detonation, you should be fine. You are not going for radical gains, so I don't see a problem.

As you can see by my signature, if you get cyclinder pressure too high, the stock rods will fail you.

From a stop, a nitrous blast may cause tire spin, especially if it's a non-lockup differential. Best thing to do for spray (or any power adder at that) is to get it on a dyno and have it tuned for the added power it will make; the stock components have a better chance at living longer if the spark and fuel are dialed in properly.

x2

Do it right and do it once.
Skimp and blow your motor and you'll kick yourself later. Done this too many times (didn't blow a motor, but skimped on other things in the past), now I know better.
