I got my Nitto's last night from discount tires. I drive 120 to and from work so i will have a better feel for them this Sat. However so they are great.
I had Toyo's on my truck when I bought it. they are VERY bad in wet weather. It also gets worst if the temp outside fall below 60 degrees. I think Nitto is the way to go if you want a tire that has a good tread life . But if you are looking for good traction for racing the Goodyears are stickyer but dont last long.
I agree... i love my goodyears, but they just arent practical. the hankook's are a good cheap tire, but thats what you get. a cheap tire. im just holding out for about 47 other companies to make them, so i dont have to give up my first born child to buy tires.
I had Goodyears and switched to Nittos. The problem I am having with
them is dry rot.I only drive the truck on weekends to keep the milage down.
After 2 years I still have tread, yet they are getting dry rot cracks.I am not
sure which tire to go with next. Just FYI
have 500 miles on my new nitto's and I think they are great. I have GoodYear eagles on my mustang gt and these are a better tire. the Nitto's are stickey in turns quite at speed and were priced better than the GoodYears. Purchessed at Discount Tires.
Correction-on the previous thread,I mentioned I had the Nitto tires for 2 years.
After calling Discount Tires,I found out it had been 3 years and 25,500 miles ago.
I believe I will stick with the Nittos.Thats longer than my Goodyears lasted.
