Smile no feul

ok,i have a 84 150 300 l6 with a non feed back carb and ds2 ignition on the choke i cant get to work idk why it just doesnt move when i hook it up,so idk,and the thing will only fire over if im choking the hell out of it,and i have a brand new fuel filter and plenty of pressure thru the fuel line and its a brand new carb and i have a orange spark,so wut ya'll think?

its a 75 model carter 1 berral carb non feed back

Have you tried the fuel/air mixture screw, and does it squirt gas when you pump it

ya it pumps but not a whole lot so i adjusted i all the way rich and it still doesnt shoot much in there,so idk

When it does fire is it running rich ? you could have too little fuel coming out the carb,or too much air(vacuum leak) .

well i can choke it all the way and it doesnt flood so idk wut that means,vac leak?

Yellow/orange spark = Bad

Blue spark = Good

ok the choke i hook it up to a full 12v sourse,correct? and it doesnt move at all,like it just sits there so idk

The Ford chokes require 9 volts from the alternator stator terminal.

The work slow .

They don't fire up like a soldering iron.

Have you indexed the choke at all ?
