How To Change My Fuel Filter
Hello guys...I am new to this site so first off hello to everyone. My 2000 f150 4.6 is hesitating and acting as if it is about to shut off. I have changed my coils and plugs. I think now that it is the fuel filter. I can't get my fuel filter to come off...even with the little plastic adapter that fits over the line. Help please!

Welcome to the forum.
Make sure that you have relieved the pressure from the system before removing the lines. You can pull the fuel pump relay from the panel under the hood and crank it over for a few seconds to relieve pressure.
The proper sized line tool should slide inside the fitting, then push the line on a little farther, then pull the line and tool away from the filter. It should come off.

LxMan1 has it right... the first time I tried I thought it was stuck bad but it was becuase I was holding the tool and trying to pull the line seperate. As soon as I pulled on it the right way it came off like nothing. I got the anodized aluminum removal tool from advance which worked well, and was a bit thinner than the plastic ones plus smaller overal to fit in tight space. Good luck.
