78 f250 4X4 2" lift...What shocks?

I have aquired a 1978 F250 4X4 with a D44 front.....it has 2" lift on front....

I have used the search ... found nothing yet..

Can some one tell me a part # for a set of front shocks that are 2" longer than Stock? I can use on this truck.

any brand....or do I have to use shock extenders?

Thank you. J.P.

Hello And thank you...The broncograveyard is great......
would any one know of a 2" longer shock I might be able to get at a local parts store
like a monroe or gaberal or some thing?

or would a Hi boy shock be taller.....and do they have post on both ends?

or would they be to tall?
Thank you again

If you want to do a little parts book research, you should be able to come up with longer shocks. Just match up the mounting styles and the OE lengths to use as a baseline.

You may also be able to cross the Superlift numbers listed above to a Monroe shock.

The easiest is to order for a 2" lift application from Superlift, Rancho, Doetch Tech and similar that deal with lift applications.
