$13k is way too much for that many miles. Also, means this was his only car and its been driven everyday through all weather...I see you live in florida so this may not be too much of an issue, I have just under 70k miles along with about $1000 in mods. I've been considering selling for that same price. kbb.com lists its value with 108k miles at $9k-$11k depending on its condition....He may be trying to get a higher price due to any mods he has, but generally speaking mods don't dramatically improve the value of the truck....print off the kbb.com report and show him. The supercharger is stock.

I've seen it, drove it and squeezed him (the one owner).
Your right, it's over priced a couple K , car fax said -- no damage claims filed, it looks like new and drives great and it looks like (and owner said) it doesn't have any mods other than a hood bug deflector. It does have the hard lid painted to match but he said that it came with that.
Owner also said it was always garaged... and from the nice look -- it must have been.
What is the maintenance factor on this unit?? Belt every ?? and etc. would sure help my decision.
MY 03 F150 seem to never break but wondering on a Roush unit.
He turned down my 10K offer.

The Lightning is a great piece of machinery, you will not be dissapointed. If you're comfortable with paying that much for a vehicle with that many miles, by all means do it. But do yourself a favor, and do some more price shopping to see if you can find another one in the area at a more reasonable price. When was the last time you ever heard anyone pay a few grand above the Blue Book price for any car? Not often.

I would take a look at the belts and inspect for cracking, I don't know enough about the life expectancy of the supercharger to really comment on what else could go wrong. My personal feeling is that anytime you take a standard engine over 100,000 miles you're getting into risky territory with things going wrong. When you talk about the same engine under the extra load of a supercharger, i consider that risk to be amplified. My personal opinion, I know plenty of others would maybe disagree. good luck!

I can see your point, but don't forget about the forged internals! That's got to count for some extra life to the engine, as-long-as your not adding a pulley..
