Svo/wvo on a road trip? Early death for IP?
I'm planning to convert my '87 f-250 6.9, aftermarket turbo, 160K mi truck to svo/wvo using one of the Plant Drive kits.
I will eventualy take it on an extended one year road trip, including very cold places.
Given the lack of settlement time and other problems with roadside wvo collection, am I condeming my Injector Pump to an early death?
How hard is it to replace a IP in the boonies, if I carry a spare?
Must I surrender to the Dark Side and get a Dodge Cummins with a stronger IP?
