Brake help needed,
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Aug-02 AT 08:00 PM (EST)]A proportioning valve is for a dual brake system. If one side fails, no fluid, it shuts off the bad side so that you still have brakes.
I believe that the differencial valve is for when you have disc on the front and drums in the rear, because the disc take more pressure and the valve keeps the rears from locking up.
