New Carb....adjustment???

Ditto what Mako said. The Edelbrocks are very easy to tune even if you need to change metering rods (5 minute job) or if the carb is far off change jets (15-20 minutes). In either case it all can be done on the vehicle and is very simple once you see how it works. Just be sure NOT to pick a carb thats to big for your application, this is the most common mistake I see. Once its set up right it will take next to no maintenance. If you need any advice feel free to ask, I use them myself and know them fairly well.

they are the best way to go the rule is a small block 600cfm, big block 650cfm, now mild build 650 cfm small block, mild build big block 700cfm, overkill build small block 700cfm big block 750 to 800 cfm. that is a genral rule on the carb size, i use a 600 cfm on my ford 302, with a crane cam.
adjustment is real easy and simple nothing to worry about

i know more about holleys myself. i can build em, and supertune em, but the carter (q jets)types I can only rebuild em.
as 79 trailor and NCFire said dont get too many cfms, because that will cause the carb not to open seconadires as necessary as well as use too much gas and many other things.
its funny to hear someone say they have a 17982300 cfm carb on a 4 banger engine.lol
What kind of engine and all do you have D-wolf? seems like you said in another thread, but right now I barely know my own name because im sooo tired..lol

the edlebrock carb fits a spread bore intake like a q-jet carb because the secondaries are larger than the primaries were as a holly fits a square bore because all 4, primary and secondaries are the same size. the edlebrock will offer you more of a seat of the pants feeling when you punch it
