My box was black and behind some white soft insulation attached to the firewall. Wasn't about to see label with flashlight or anything, found it by sticking my hand up under the dash and feeling around, peeled the sticker off and stuck it inside the glove box. 3 wiring harness connectors going into the bottom of it. Hope that helps someone. Total time: 10 minutes.

I guess they didn't put printed codes on the '99 SuperDuty and 2000 X.. I wasn't about to pay $100 for some guy to tell me the code, so I looked into it more. I read a forum (not sure where) where someone used Microsoft Word to create a Macro to make all the possible codes... (sounds like something you wouldn't want to do, but you will be surprised) There are 5 buttons on the keypad. So you go into word create this macro that uses all the possible 5 digits numbers it could make with 0 1 2 3 4. It makes about a total of 10 sheets of codes at like 5 or so columns on each page.... TONS OF CODES. You then label the 1/2 key: 0 the 3/4 key: 1 and so on.... so now your keypad looks like 0 1 2 3 4... then you enter codes.... I did this for 10 min. and found my code. Some may be quicker, some may take longer... If anyone would like me to send them this word document with all the numbers, I would be glad too, also if anyone would like me to explain the procedure better I will. I'm so greatful that I found out about this way. I wish I would have remembered who it was so I could give the credit to that person, but it was probably 6 or 8 months ago. Good Luck!
