Last Saturday my 83 F250 4X4 iron duke let it's head gasket go and this was right after I just fitted it with new calipers, pads, and brake lines. The engine only has 1,000 miles on a "professional reman"? Heavy duty steel flat bead, new clutch, carb, radiator, Escilade leather seat for the driver and Escilade velour seat for the passenger, and on and on, well now it's time to go, anyone here interested contact me.
So, since I'm a beef cattle farmer in need of a reliable truck I bought a 2003 F350 XLT, 4X4, crew cab, V10 this past Friday. I'll be asking lots of questions to make this thing run at peak efficency so please be patient with me.
I will be filling the crank case with Amsoil as soon as the heat passes here, 100 degrees today and the same for tomorrow. I also want to change the auto transmission fluid with Amsoil does anyone know if that's ok?
Thanks. I can't believe someone hasn't figured out how to add on to the V 10 to get a few extra miles per gallon out of it. I got a respond back from krewet and he said K&N along with a flowmaster exhaust won't help. That's frustrating. I hope a all new synthetic switch over will. I'm going to do the oil and trans fluid as soon as my shipment comes from Amsoil. Got any other suggestions???
Thanks, Ed
