Gas trimmer scrubber for grease stain removal

Today as I cleaned grease from my garage floor with a degreaser in a purple bottle, a wire brush, and a stiff bristle broom I thought back to several years ago when I saw a circular scruber that attached to the bottom of your gas string trimmer. The spinning action should make scrubbing effortless. Now for the problem I ran to walmart(were I saw it 2 years ago), home depot, and lowes; apperentely its non existant. I checked ebay and did numberous online searches still no luck. Does anyone have one of these or know the brand name so I might find one?

you could prbably make one, you'd just needs buffing pad, and maybe some velcro in the bottom of a empty spool

Never heard of such a thing, what a darn good idea.

Iv'e scrubbed stuff up using a cup-shaped scrubbing pad in my angle grinder, which I got at Ace Hardware. Light pressure is all that is needed, too much and whatever your cleaning disappears. It's a fabric-based cup of some kind with waht feels like a very find sand stuck on it.

I try to use the power washer when possible, it does less damage overall.

It had bristles like a scrub brush and I think the whole thing was green. I may end up haveing to make something. The angle grinder sounds like a great idea but I don't want to kneel in the grease.

Here's a starting point: http://www.spiralbrushes.com/cup.html

Apparently, you can get a pretty wide choice of bristles...

I'd think about adapting one of the cup brushes to mount on the trimmer, then choose an appropriate material. Maybe contact their people and ask a few questions.

I saw something while running a yahoo search on pool tile cleaning. You may end up grinding to get it deep cleaned. I always liked lacquer thinner but watch for ignition sources when using it.

in shop class we used a commercial floor cleaner solution, and a floor buffer.... maybe find an old floor buffer, or rent one?
