Hot this Weekend!

Gonna be up over 100 degrees up here in Northern Nevada this Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Luckily I'm up on the hill and usually about 10 degrees cooler than Reno. I gotta work on Sunday and Monday but am thinking of hitting Topaz on Saturday (if I can talk the wife into it).

How 'bout you guys down South in the Vegas area? I suppose your gonna be well into the tripple digits eh?
Beer and air conditioning time!

We hit triple-digits in May. Been that way on and off ever since. The a/c never stops around here.

Up here in the North Country, we've been getting relief from some pretty intense thunerstorm/shower activity right about when it gets miserably hot. Real nice, except the subsequential lightning fires kinda heat up too. Rained at my house (in the front country Sierra Mtns) pretty hard yesterday. Felt great. Been getting into the upper nineties in Reno lately but supposed to climb back into the tripples starting tomorrow. Oh boy.

Central Nevada Mountains

Here in Kingston, we haven't hit triple digits yet. had a couple of 97s but for the last two weeks, thunderstorms and resulting overcast have kept it humid, but in high 70s to low 90s. Nights are about 50. So not bad. But then, we have the best weather in Nevada, IMO.
