Change the Trans Oil at 131K?

Yes, for the first time. What do you think? I keep hearing both sides and not sure what is fact and what is fiction. Thanks, Mike

Consesus would say to change the fluid (as much as possible) and filter (maybe), but not to power flush. The latter might break out loose particles that later clog the tranny.

By detatching the return line from the cooler to the transmission, you can effectively drain 90+ percent of the fluid from this port by using a procedure found elsewehere on this site.

i would agree. changing the fluid and getting rid of any crud or deposits can only help you r shift. there are very few addatives left in the oil at 130,000 miles.
