Serpentine belt diagram

Can anybody please get me a Serpentine belt diagram for a 2000 ford ranger 3.0. the truck doesn't have the diagram under the hood and i can't find the right diagram.. please help ASAP..

The best i can do to help you right now (since i dont have a diagram) is to tell you that the back part or smooth part of the belt goes to the smooth pullies and the ribbed part goes to the ribbed pulleys.. usually after some messin around it can be figured out

I'm stunned that your's doesn't have it, it's right there next to the hood latch.

Anyway, the previous poster had it right, ribbed side goes to the ribbed pullys and the smooth side goes to the smooth pullys. Actually I think there is only one smooth pully - the tensioner at the top

Page 1-14 of your trusty Haynes maual.

Might find a pictorial on AutoZones web site, under parts replacement/repair, just enter the particulars for your truck.

thanks for the support. hopefully i can get something to work.. but just incase if anybody has a 2000 if it would be possible for you to take a pic with a digital camera and send it to me that would be awesome.. thanks again everybody

Naw it's easy. You need one of those flat bar socket wrenches but other than that its a piece of cake. Changing the spark plugs and wires on the other hand...
