The same guy actually has a very restorable 1950 F-5 flat bed. It doesnt have a bench seat but it looks great. It has some surface rust but the chrome still looks good. The interior looks almost perfect, barely any rust. He's gonna be selling it soon if any of you are interested.. Might be asking a bit more than $100 though

Too bad, I really like that truck and it has some possibilities. I was going to offer you $7500 and ask if you can arrange shipping.

Looks like it would be some work to get it on a trailer. The earth has started to take it back. This spring my brother found a 69 Mach I behind a barn. Too bad it was not in the barn. It took us about four hours to get it on a trailer. At one point I noticed that the rear wheels were no longer center on the wheel wells, but headed towards the rear bumper. The earth had a really good hold on the bottom side of that car.

lol huronfarmer. Man you got a good score at $200 for a truck WITH the drive train hehe. I feel like I did good because I mainly just wanted the bed.. the other nearest long bed is 5 states away for $750 PLUS shipping... yikes.
This whole truck is 35 miles away!

Ah, I was dreading trying to clean up the bed and box on my 56 long-bed. The sight of that makes me feel SO much better, thanks for posting it.

Good find, btw!

It is pretty hot here now for the last 3 1/2 weeks. Mostly in the high 80`s and 90`s. There was alot of rain in May and June and now it`s very dry. Hard to believe the change.
Too bad my 56 Mercury 100 isn`t in my gallery yet (it`s in pieces) but there are a few Fords in there. Check it out when you have time.

Man, I thought I had a yard full of 'scrap iron'. I'm going to be interested in seeing that M100 as you complete it; the Canadian model is a good looking truck.

Hey, Nuthin -
Put up your gallery. We'd like to see pics of that 56 in your avatar!

Click on the bar called "User CP" on the top of the forum page and follow the directions. You can download digital pics into a gallery album. You can do albums of different projects, trucks, etc. Then, click on a user name in a post and pick "View Gallery" from the dropdown menu to see their galley.

Good to meetcha!

Pleasure to meet you folks, too.

I been too lazy to build the Gallery but I've started a project 'journal' here: http://home.earthlink.net/~nuthin/ford1.htm

Be kind to the old fella, he's been sitting in a pasture for several years.
