I have an 04 F150 4.6 4x4 with 140k, if I have the OD on it will downshift out of it really hard. but if I turn off the OD and stomp on it its all good, then once up to the desired speed click OD back on runs like a top.

Has anyone else had this symptoms with the trans, what could it be?

 

I, too, have a similar problem. When cruising along in my '07 F150, I stomp on the gas and the transmission shifts down two gears, the engine starts speeding up and there is a loud "clunk" and a hard jerk. Is this a common occurrence? How to fix it?
