New DP-Tuner & Valve Body Installed
First of all, I would like to thank everyone who posted and recommended the DP-Tuner and the valve body upgrade. Secondly, I want to point out that I was on the fence for months about making the leap from my Predator and Sonnax. Thirdly, WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG?
Normally, I'm very easy on the go pedal, hell I've never had it at WOT. So when I test drove my mule on the 80 econo I noticed quite a bit more power and she shifted like a dream. I felt pretty comfortable so I shifted it into 120... I was doing about 10 mph and I gave it about half throttle...my truck(all four wheels) broke looseand we were off! The smoke let me tell you about the smoke, black and thick!! Using my Predator I only got a light grey smoke while towing 9K up steep grades. So, this is very new to me. I only went about 5 miles on my test drive and let me tell you that it was worth every penny.
The display is nice and the **** to switch is on the display, now I have to find an ideal mounting location.

I'll take some pics tonight after work. But, Jody has pics of the same unit on his web site.

Here is the display unit, note the circle on top, that is the digital display. The **** on the bottom is the selector switch. The switch has 16 positions, so if you order a 6 position tuner for example, the **** will switch beyond #6 but will default to the highest setting. The display unit is a little bigger than the FOB for your truck.

Another picture. There is a nine pin connector on the back that is very easy to disconnect, but not easy enough to vibrate loose. I use these same type of connectors on some telecommunication equipment at work. They work very well, I also recommend using velcro with 3M adhesive backing to attach it to your mounting location.

Yes, I did drill and trimmed a rectangular hole for the connector to come through the dash. If you want more pictures of the ribbon cable and the chip itself go here:

Looks pretty good! Does the **** make a definite turn for each position, or do you just turn it one way and it returns to a neutral position?
BTW I talked to Jody a few minutes ago and the chips were delayed coming in. He thought they were going to have them last week, but they obviously didn't make it. Tomorrow, 10 chips are supposed to arrive to Jody.

The only problem with the BTS valve body and the 120hp position on Jody's chip - while shifting is much improved, a BTS tranny it isn't. The 120hp position makes so much power I fear for the safety of my trans.
As a result, I seldom use it. Maybe someday, IF I have to replace my tranny with a better one, OR I replace it with a real transmission (6 gears + clutch = no slushing).
