Intake/cam advice
Hello guys and gal,
Looking for a little advice. First, background though. I have a 70 F-100 Stepside w/ newly reman. 302 and stock running gear(3spd tranny/3.50 rearend) Besides being punched 40 over and dual exhaust, engine is stock. I slapped on an ole FOMOCO 289HP 4v intake(yep, all "75lbs" of the cast iron beast) and a Holley 600 carb I had laying around. Question is this. I'm looking for a little more low end torque. Any recommendations on a carb/intake/cam that would help me towards this goal? I'm still a little wet behind the ears on performance mods and need a little advice before I go throwing money around.
