You can get keyless entry kit with remotes for less than $50 and install it yourself. They have ones with starter kill built in, also. Easy to wire up. Wiring codes are provided for your vehicle. I am looking into one to replace dealer installed unit on my wife's Explorer. A single replacement remote was more than the cost of the whole system. Since there was an alarm already installed, I will be able to easily tie into the wiring for the door locks with the new system. I have helped install alarms before and it is not that difficult with the wiring codes available. If you PM me, I can give more info if you like.
