Difference between 1999 & 1999.5 F250?
I have a '99 F250 with VIN of 1FTNW21F0XED29703 with a manufacture date of 01/99. I am looking to do several turbo/tuner upgrades to this truck but am not sure if it qualifies as a 1999.5 or the older 1999. Basically, what is the difference between the two and can anyone tell me which flavor I have?
Thanks very much in advance - this is a killer forum, I'm glad to be a member!

I have a early 99, anything before like 12/7 or 12/8 99 is considered early diesel. shares some similarities with the 98 diesels. there were engineering revisions to it. I know my turbo y-pipe from the manifolds and the turbo exhaust housing are different. I've never done a search or comparison to find out all the differences. But with a 99.5 you should have plenty of parts and upgrade options, since that engineering spec ran until 2003.

Thanks, folks. I swear I did several searches earlier in the day for this info & no results were returned!?! Satellite internet not quite ready for prime time I think.
Looks like I have the "later" '99 unit...
Once again - excellent website/forum here. Great moderation and nothing but useful information.
