If all he is doing is a generic shift kit then yes the BTS VB would be almost a simple plug and play. Brian uses Transgo products in his rebuilds, figure if both Brian and suncoast use their products in some form or another, they have to be doing something right.
Yes but I believe BTS modifies it somehow. I know that it comes with a seperator plate between the VB and the transmission. Which explains why he doesn;t include instructions. So you have to call him when it is installed and youre unhappy.

They are in the business and have done the research to know what parts from what vendor will work great together to have the desired outcome. If I could afford one from BTS, I'd have a full on BTS transmission in my truck as well.

In the VB package he sends you, the plate is Transgo. However, he does tell you what you can do if you want to make it shift harder.
