I have had the CPS engine shut off issues and since reading here, I have unplugged,plugged, unplugged and replugged the CPS connector. I really ran great after doing that so I thought my issue was fixed until I was driving to work in the rain and the engine cut off 5 times in about 5 miles. Now, it hasn't done it since and I have now intalled a new CPS. Has anyone experienced the rain issue with the CPS????

 

Not experienced it, but read about it right here at FTE. Use some of that electronic grease on the plug or move to Arizona.

 

Got a feeling the rain and engine cutting out were just luck. Sounds like you may have the problem fixed with your new CPS. Let us know if you find the rain is the problem.
