chokeless ????
I hope this isnt a dumb question,but does it hurt not to run a choke? I know alot of new performance carbs are chokeless ,and guys have been removing the choke,and plate for years to get better flow from their carbs. Does it hurt the drivability of the vehicle? Just a curious question.

Only when cold. Since that is the sole means of cold running enrichment, it will be lean when you start it, plus you will have to keep on the gas until it warms up. I drove a de-choked truck for a couple years, it wasn't fun when it was cold, but not hard once you're used to it.
