Sold my truck
I sold the old play toy from my youth and bought a van. The nice thing is that it an Econoline and can use it to haul the race car the track along with the family, tools, and most importantly the coolers.
The biggest disadvantage is I've already been stuck in the mud, haven't done that in years. I did get a big ole 70 something Ford to pull me out though.
I would have to say that I miss the truck but I really like the van as well.

I grew up with a 79 Econoline for my first wheels the parents gave me to drive... They certainly can be helpless trying to get through mud ad such, that and the way the front brakes seemed to like to lock in slick conditions... Used to tow a camper around with it, and it dd ok with it. A few years ago I had a 79 conversion van given to me, and while it towed the trailer, it was kind of poochy, and the mileage sucked. But can't complain too much, it was free. Both had the 351W in them. Not bad driving thaough, just not a truck...Stick a locker in the back, and it probably would walk through anything...
