This Fram Boost air intake thing-a-ma-bob

Hey fellas,

I've been seeing ads for this http://www.framboost.com/ after market product on the SPEED Channel as of late.

I've heard Fram air filters for my 2000 F-150 Supercrew 4.6l are known to eat themselves (I'll admit I have the last one in and will go with the NAPA Gold next) but I wanted to know if anyone has heard about this, or is this like the Tornado (which, I still have in and am not sure if it works).

Thank you for any insight!

Mike

Yeah, I have seen the commercials on Speed too. Does anyone have any input on them?

Let me start by saying that I would not buy anything that says fram on it. However, it looks to me like it is a copy of a K&N FIPK. Fram has been making air hogs that are a copy of the K&N drop in replacements. This probably isnt a total waste. The tornado and all of that stuff is not worth a penny.

I just put it on my 2002 F-150 Harley Davidson. It works! I can really feel it in the pants and with the SuperCharger kicking in, it rocks! The instructions are great, easy to read and took about 1 hour to complete. Since I have just put it on I really do not have any other information than this. The motor does growl when you really step on it.

Talking Fram Boost

I won one of their intakes when they first came out.I have a 97 F150 4X4 Lariat 4.6L ,I love it. Plus it has an oilless air filter. You just clean it. & put it back on. I put an outerwears pre-filter over the air filter, to clean it cleaner longer & keep water out. I had or have an IceMan intake for sale. Its a good one too, but when you win one you got to try it out.
So the IceMan needs a new home. $90.00 shipped out. Its blue in color.
