Haynes Repair Manual

I just got the manual which really sucks. I tust this forum before this manual. I think we should publish our own manual with mods and maitenance. Just need to find a publisher...maybe the same one as Haynes. Im just raving my girlfriend just found out about the girl have been dating and now she is going to tell my wife. Ha Ha

I'd say you have bigger problems than the quality of your service manual.

You can buy Ford OEM-style manuals directly from the same publisher that printed the books that came with these trucks originally...including those really nice Mech's manuals (the super thick ones). You can call the publisher direct at (moderator-let me print the phone number??) 800 782 4356. I worked for the publication industry for a few years...a lot more goes into publishing a book than just throwing together some words. The process can take years, especially for something as complicated as a service manual...doesn't sound like a whole lotta fun for me.

Um,..Chance, as far as the other problem goes..not sure how it applies to anything, but, if I were you id put that thing back in your pants before you get shot.

Try a Chilton manual, I started out with a Haynes and had gotten a Chilton for another vehicle and ended up getting one for my truck. They seem to be more thorough.

I have Chilton and Hayes. They both suck. Returned them and am using Dad's 99 F350 book.

Getting shot might be ok. Getting Bobbited might not.
