2005 f250 tire size

I have a 2005 F250 V10 SuperDuty SuperCrew and am looking to put bigger tires on it. Would like to know what I could get away with with no rubbing without having to life it. I plan on leveling the truck out in the front as well. Does anyone know of what kind of or size tire I could get under the truck? I would like atleast 33 possibly 35's. If I go with 35's what size lift would I need? Thanks

Smile tires

Everyone will give a different answer on this but I can tell you what worked for me.I have a 2005 SD crew cab 4x4 V-8 . I installed the claimed 2 1/2 '' leveling kit[measures 2'' even] and I put 315/70/17 BFG a/t 's on factory rims . No rubbing at all,not even close.
I have a Warn 12000 lb. winch on the front with the full brushguard so that may equal the weight of your V10. Let us know what works for you....GOOD LUCK!
By the way, the 315/70/70 measures 34.5x12.50x17

I have a '05 f250 6.0L and i ran 315/70r 17 on a 9.5" american racing wheels w/ 4 5/8" backspacing and they turned fine. I had to mold the wheel well but thats no big deal. I had a 2.5" level kit but took it off and just ran stock height. I couldn't tell any diff. between 2.5" level and stock (that little lift is not enough to change what tire you can run) and if you are interested i still have the 315/70r17 bfg on 17/9.5" american racing aluminum 114's i believe and the tires have right at 3/4 tread left, good looking set and i will sell them for $750 (good deal since i paid $1400 10,000 miles ago, just want to move them quickly) Im selling since i upgraded to a 4.5" dr lift and 37"/22" tires and wheels. Just to give you a idea i put a 4.5" dr (they recommend 35/12.5 with min BS) i put on 37/13.5r22 with a wheel with 4 7/8" BS and i only rubbed inner wheel well one time when i had this bad boy on the rt ramp just seeing what kinda flex this babys got (dr wasn't lying when they said 50% more travel because i increased my rt travel by 55%..crazy)

enjoy
