4.6 getting really hot!

4.6 getting really hot!

lately my truck is running really hot when i take it offroading, its never done that before and its also letting heat into the cab from the firewall...why is this??

What year of truck is it? How do you know that iut's running hot??? Need more info please.

its a 2000 and ususally my temp runs in the center of the temp guage...but latley it has been pushes closers to the "H"...

I would suspect a partially clogged radiator. Stuff builds up in the bottom and reduces heat transfer.
Also check the condition of the fan clutch.
