For those of you who have been following my great ignition adventure, I recently ripped out a non-functioning computer system from my otherwise stock '69 360 and replaced the spark plugs. In the process, I cracked the distributor cap so now that is new too (NAPA Part. Ford apparently doesn't make them anymore).
The bottom line is that, assuming I can get the Pertronix installed right, I should have a pretty much brand new ignition on the truck.
I'll keep everyone posted on the installation and results.
There is a `black` grounding wire that goes from the advance plate to the base INSIDE the dist....You must keep that connected when you bolt in the module! The instructions may not be that clear ...Just for info only!
