Finding a Trak-lock unit for dana 60....

Anyone know where i can find one...I know they were an option for the trucks. Anyone know any way i can find one in the junkyard by reading the axle tags? Im looking for a stock limited slip-trck-lok for a dana 60 for 4.10 gears and lower....any tips or hints would be appreciated.

Looking to spend 50-75 on the unit, then rebuild it, and throw it in the truck

John,

I think there were two different types offered during those years but they both were call trac-locs? Have you heard this?

Axle tag should have the letters LS on it if it is factory equipped.

Smile have you tried western

Have you tried western salvage in Byers? You can call them and tell them what you are looking for and they will tell you if they have one or not.
