I had a 75 when it was fairly new and I liked it. Becarefull with a rusty frame, it`s very hard/time consuming to repair/replace and probably not worth the effort/time/money to do so. I would look for a better vehicle, this one maybe good for parts if it runs well. Don`t ask how I know....

If I could afford a `67 390 4spd Ranchero, it would be parked in my driveway right now. I would settle for a `58 also if I had the money.
If you have the facility, spare time, tools and money, buy the truck.
You might want to inquire on the Ranchero/Econoline board to make sure that the Ranchero frame is the same as the sedans for that year. I'd think it would be but don't have proof positive.

There's a little town just west of Guelph called ARTHUR. Every August there is a Ford truck show in town. There is always a good turn-out of trucks from bone stock original (many different years) to radical custom & many different flavors in between.
There are a few threads already started about this year's meet for you to read through.
Bring your `Chero out and join the show.
